Paul was a colleague of mine at Meyer, and he stood out as an industry expert—truly in a league of his own. He was, without a doubt, the best at what he did.
I remember early in my career at Meyer, while working through a cold call list, I unknowingly dialed one of Paul’s clients. It couldn’t have been more than two minutes after I hung up before Paul was at my desk, asking what I thought I was doing. He was probably joking, but I was struck by how loyal his customer was—they had called him immediately to let him know! Looking back, I completely understand why.
Paul built something remarkable in his career. His clients trusted him deeply, cared about him, and wanted to work exclusively with him. They knew that if they needed help, Paul would always be there to answer the call.
I’m grateful for the opportunity to have worked with him and to have learned from him over the years. He set an incredible example for the rest of us.
My thoughts and prayers are with Paul’s family during this difficult time.
Rest in Peace, Paul

Some people are just full of love and laughter - and that was Paul. We spent so many years at our pool, at his house - neighbors who turned into framily. The best memories!
Sending heartfelt love and sympathy to Michael, Kara and Scott. Michael and Cathi LaChioma

I sure do miss the good old days of baseball and Myrtle Beach trips with the families.... I love that our boys still hang out and can lean on each other during difficult times.
My most sincere condolences to the entire Kennedy family.

Dear Paul
I’ve known you more than 1/2 my life . Married to you for 33 years. So many memories.. the sleepless nights-
The kids growing up, the dances, the proms, the dance recitals .
The smiles and the tears. Sitting on the bleachers watching baseball from sun up til sun down.
Having the car all packed on the very last game so we could finally head out on vacation . With so many friends following right behind us.
Hilton Head, Myrtle , Mt Tremblant- truly epic vacations. I hope your up in heaven with my dad sitting at grandma roses table eating macaroni and pasta fazul.
Rest in peace, fur.
Linda

From a personal perspective, his love of family, as well as friends, was always evident in his care and concern for their happiness and well being. At the same time, his active social life ensured that he lived a life to its’ fullest.
From a professional perspective, Paul was the perfect example of the consummate salesman. I had the pleasure of knowing Paul starting at West End Moving in the 70’s and then for his time at Meyer. For Paul, “cold calling” was a thing in the very distant past of an extremely impressive sales career. He was proof positive that it is not price a customer is looking for, but instead an extremely competent and trustworthy partner in a business relationship. While the term “order taker” is sometimes used as a word to disparage a person in sales, in Paul’s case it was the result of years of personal relationship building that placed him at the pinnacle of a very successful sales career. His clients ( and there were many ) had the type of trust in him built over the course of years that when his services were required they would simply call Paul and requested whatever was needed to achieve their business objectives while never asking the price, simply knowing that the job would get done properly and to their satisfaction and they would receive an invoice at a later date. Therefore, in my world, referring to Paul as an “order taker” becomes the highest compliment for a salesman I can give, as he had already laid the time consuming groundwork of building strong personal relationships and had reached that stage long ago.
Oh yeah, and let us not forget that he was also funny as sh*t.
Paulie – I will miss you.
May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face, And the rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of His hand.

My Uncle Paul always made me feel included and taken care of when my sister, Kyle, and I spent summer days at his house with Michael, Kara, and Scott. I wasn’t the youngest, but I was the smallest, and Uncle Paul ensured I didn’t get left out or behind. Even when I was small, he greeted me with such enthusiasm — “Hey hey, Shaebear!” — and a big hug and kiss. He was so warm, attentive, and fun. I loved walking to the lake, grilling and playing in his backyard, and vacationing to the beach with his family when I got a bit older. Watching old home videos always makes me smile, especially seeing our parents playing yard games — Paul was great with a wiffle ball bat! — and enjoying each other’s company. And, though we lived a few states away, and then I moved to California after college, he kept up with our lives and asked all the good, thoughtful questions each time we visited. I’m so grateful I got to see him just a week ago and that he got to meet my husband, Nick, whom he greeted with a big, familiar hug as though they’d known each other forever. Sending all of my love to Mike, Kara, Scott, Patty, and the rest of the Kennedy family. I loved him, and I feel lucky to call him my Uncle Paul. ❤️

I have known Paul for over 40 years. His friendship, his charisma, and his love for his family and friends was undeniable and always evident. So many great times spent together. He was one of the good guys that always went out of his way to lend a hand or offer support. My heart goes out to Patty, Mike, Scott, Kara, and his entire family and countless friends and colleagues. I love you Paul. May the four winds blow you safely home.
