Obituary of Susan A. Rogers

Susan A. Endres Rogers, age 66, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of David Rogers. Born in Stamford on February 1, 1959, she was the daughter of the late Walter and Joan (Gillispie) Endres and was a longtime resident of Shelton.

Susan enjoyed gardening, tending to her flower beds, long walks with all her neighborhood friends, going to the beach and taking care of her beloved dogs Bella, Walter and Molly. She often said she could be happy eating pizza everyday, but her greatest joy came from being surrounded by her family, especially being with her granddaughter, Raia. She was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother and will be missed by all who loved her.

In addition to her beloved husband David of 44 years, survivors include her two loving children, James Rogers and his wife Camille and Stacey Golino and her husband Thomas, two brothers, Mark Endres and his wife Laura and Glenn Endres and his wife Paula and a cherished granddaughter, Raia Golino. She was predeceased by a brother, James Kenneth Endres.

Friends may greet the family on Thursday, July 3, 2025 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull with a prayer service that will take place at 6:30 pm in the funeral home. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
