Obituary of Helen Riep

Helen Panas Riep, age 71, of Trumbull, beloved wife of the late William G. Riep, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Bridgeport on February 5, 1954, she was a daughter of the late John Sr., and Bernice Dunning Panas. Helen was a retired employee of Clayton Services. Along with her husband, they enjoyed traveling, trips to New York City and seeing Broadway shows. She was a member of the German Club as well as the Elks Club. Survivors include her devoted children, Heather Carrano and William Riep Jr., two cherished grandchildren, Bobby and Kayla Carrano, a brother, Fred Panas and his wife Melissa and a sister, Diane Brainard and her husband Steve, as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, John Panas Jr. Funeral services will take place on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
