Obituary of Judith A. Pollack

Judith A. Pollack, age 68, of Shelton passed away peacefully on Friday, January 30, 2026 at Bridgeport Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Pollack, Jr. Born in Bridgeport on May 10, 1957 she was a daughter of the late Raymond M. and Eleanor (Emanuelson) Argel. Judy had worked for over 25 years as teacher in various elementary schools throughout the Shelton Public School System. She touched many lives over her tenure and built many lasting friendships along the way. She was a bird lover and greatly enjoyed feeding the many variety that would visit her yard year-round. She enjoyed the beauty of nature and looked forward to trips to be beach to look for and collect sea glass. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving son, Bryan E. Pollack of Topsfield, MA, her brother Buddy Argel and his wife Kary of Woodbury, her brother-in-law, Ray Zagars of FL, her very dear friend Nancy, as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also predeceased by her sister, Debby Zagars.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 6, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Rd., Trumbull. Interment will follow in Lawncroft Cemetery, Fairfield.
