Obituary of Gloria B. Pinho

Resident of Shelton Gloria Barcia Pinho, age 91, of Shelton, died on Friday, May 14, 2010 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Born in Vilela Seca, Chaves, Portugal on February 4, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin and Ermelinda Oliveira Barcia. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and will be deeply missed. She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Antonio Pinho. Survivors include her five loving children, Fernando Pinho and his wife Beatriz of Shelton, Maria Pires and her husband Andre of Bridgeport, Celeste Fereira and her husband Fernando of Vilela Seca, Portugal, Judite Branco and her husband Joaquim of Shelton and Diamantino Pinho and his wife Maria Isabel of Fairfield, ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Information Funeral services will take place on Monday, May 17, 2010 at 8:00 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 9:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Fatima Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will take place in Vilela Seca Cemetery, Chaves, Portugal. Friends may call on Sunday from 2-6 p.m.
