Obituary of Paul S. Mikos

Paul S. Mikos, age 84, of Monroe passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 2, 2021 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Bridgeport. Born in Chicago, Illinois on May 7, 1937, he was a son of the late Paul and Julia (Nielajadlo) Mikos. A proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Paul had served his country honorably. Paul had obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the DePaul University in Chicago and later worked as a financial analyst for the IBM Corporation, with many years of dedicated service before his retirement. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed his time on the links with friends and family. A loving and devoted son, brother, uncle and friend to many, he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his sister, Geraldine Jenkner and her husband Stanley of Algonquin, IL, his brothers, Norbert Mikos of Fuquay Varina, NC and Ronald Mikos and his wife Carol of Easton, his nieces and nephews, James Jenkner and Jackie Skaleski, both of Algonquin, IL, Gregory Mikos of Fairfield and Laura Ryan of Stratford.
