I was blessed to call him my Godfather. I will always remember how he was a special part of our family. He loved spending the weekends with us when we lived in Bridgeport and came with us to the beach and on vacations while we were growing up. He moved to Florida about 20 years ago and joined our family again. He loved that he was so close to his big brother and sister-in-law. We celebrated every holiday together, went shopping together and enjoyed each other's company. We laughed a lot, and even cried together sometimes, but most times were happy. Helping him in his golden years was never a burden. He was always there for us and taking care of him was a blessing and a privilege. He walked in the path that God led him on. He taught us all about forgiveness, unconditional love and acceptance.
