Nancy, Joseph + Stephen, I am so sorry to hear of your Mother's passing, I only saw the posting today + missed the services. Your Mom was an iconic part of our childhood. She reprimanded all of us as if we too were her children. It is only now, years later, that we realize how much she cared for our wellbeing. She was the neighborhood "Avon Lady" + always had quick come back for any of us. My Mom + Dad looked forward to her walks to their house for a cup of tea + an update on the neighborhood news. Please know that we would have been at her services had we known. Our deepest sympathy + prayers to your family, Sharon Forno Leidy + Peg & Al Forno

Words cannot express the love I had for my Gram. It was so deep in my heart, and will forever remain that way. I am blessed to have so many wonderful memories to carry in my heart and mind. Thank you for everything you have taught and instilled in my brother and I as we were growing up to become who we are today. You were our world!! Not only our Grandmother, but a Mother to both to Joe and I. Rest in Peace Gram. Forever and always in my heart

I remember as a kid playing with my best friend, Liz Banas, the VERY 1st person to come ring my doorbell when I moved into the neighborhood and when I opened the door she said "HI, do u want to play?".... LOL One of the countless times Liz & I were playing she got a phone call; believe it or not, on a wall mounted, corded phone, from Gram saying she needed help because she was in the attic, as short as she was, stood up and hit her head on an exposed nail!!! Liz booked it out of the house, ran across my back yard, jumped the fence into her yard & rushed to Gram's aid the fix her up!!!! I never once questioned who was in charge of that household.... It was Gram!!!! But just as stern & down to business, no bullshit type of attitude she always had in life, she was always just as loving and caring & making sure her family was always taken care of!!!! I remember going over there to dinner all the time!!!!.... Gram ALWAYS made sure she made a phenomenal meal for her family & anyone ever invited to join them!!!! It was always like having a 5 course meal; with EVERYONE eating at the dining room table TOGETHER!!!! These are memories I can never forget & will always carry with me!!! R.I.P. Gram Always missed Never forgotten
