Obituary of Vincenza Giugliano
Vincenza Romeo Giugliano, age 88, of Ansonia, beloved wife of the late Gennaro Giugliano, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 16, 2023 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Avellino, Province of Naples, Italy on March 1, 1935, she was a daughter of the late Franco and Filomena DeCicco Romeo. Along with her family, she immigrated to the United States in 1966 and was a retired employee of Bridgeport Hospital.
She was dedicated to the love and care of her family; always putting their needs before her own. She enjoyed cooking for her family and friends and treasured when everyone was together, especially her grandchildren, creating memories to last a lifetime. Vincenza was a dedicated and loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by all who loved her.
Survivors include her two loving children, a son, Tony Giugliano and his wife Gabrielle and a daughter, Fran Broussard, two grandchildren, Joseph Nicholas and Connie Broussard, a great grandson Mason Giugliano, four siblings, Pasquale, Gennaro, Carmella and Anna, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 21, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in St Lawrence Church, 505 Shelton Ave., Shelton. Entombment will follow in the Garden Mausoleum of St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Relatives and friends may greet the family on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull.
